Fresh New Zealand Feijoa
RD8 Fresh Produce exports Class 1 New Zealand feijoas grown in Gisborne, Bay of Plenty and Waikato.
Feijoas are a sub-tropical fruit maturing in the New Zealand autumn months of March to May.
They have a sweet, aromatic flavour, which tastes like pineapple, apple and mint, and resemble the closely-related guava.
